about bio • My lineage as a DuPree starts with my grandfather. Before then, my name was Deupre. Thanks to his ingenuity (or possibly a spelling mistake) we’re now DuPrees. • I asked my wife to marry me in Mexico…then had the ceremony in Hawaii on Elvis’ birthday. We now have two beautiful boys. • In the fifth grade talent show "my band" performed (really a lot of lip singing and air guitar) Quiet Riot's Bang Your Head …we didn't win. • As a kid, my dad helped me build a half-pipe ramp in our driveway and a zip line in our backyard. Yeah, our neighbors loved us. • I was a bartender and taught Lindy hop to pay for school. • I’m a dog person. More specifically, I’m a beagle person, which says a lot about my patience level. • I love my Morning coffees (plural) • I played baseball from the time I was a toddler until I tore my ACL in college. • My son's first Christmas we had an encounter with a toothless Santa. • It is physically impossible for me to go to a movie, ballpark, festival, or other venue (including but not limited to some gas stations) without purchasing a hotdog. • The furthest I’ve ever been from home is Baku, Azerbaijan. • My wife & I had one engagement party. It was in New Orleans, on Halloween (our favorite holiday), and I convinced her to let me turn us into a little old couple celebrating their 50th...with the help of prosthetics. • I live in a house divided...I’m Star Wars, and my wife is Star Trek. • My first time surfing was on Thanksgiving Day in the frigid angry waters of Sligo, Ireland….I still managed to get up. • My favorite city to bring my appetite and camera...New Orleans, Louisiana. • My favorite photo I've ever taken was shot with an iPhone…it's a portrait of my first baby boy, Foster.
